Let's get into this great garment... Here we have an good condition Connolly man's racing, storm or foul weather car coat that is fantastic for the seasons ahead. The color of the jacket is a classic black and of course sports some nice Connolly detailing and racing patches. Check out the pics! Connolly is of course an "in the know" very premium maker of exceptional leather products and leather seating & interiors for esteemed automobile makes such as Rolls Royce, Bentley, Maserati, Ferrari, Jaguar and Aston Martin to name a few. Their leathers were even used in WW2 in the British Supermarine Spitfire airplanes. As it much lesser known, the company also excels at clothing and accessories. As you probably know, these storm racing jackets were very low production run items that sold out super quick and are darn near impossible to find on the second hand market. Do your research on this brand, Connolly, if you are not familiar. With a history dating back about 150 years in the UK and having adorned seating on the Concord and the Queen's Coronation coach, one has the chance to don a foul weather garment with a history than certainly handle that evening incoming storm. This one is bout 1-2 sizes too big for my husband, who is 5'10 and 180lbs (he is relatively fit for a mid-50s guy). Pity. A friend of his asked us to sell it for him. So here we are.
